Couples in decades

Some friends put together a "couples in decades" night for Valentine's
It was so fun! I love dressing up for things like this....we pulled out the costume box...drum roll Please!

Ry created himself a "beer belly" We couldn't figure out the front from the back of the wig all night, so sometimes he had culry bangs...and sometimes he had a mullet! So funny!

So many people thought he looked like Ben Stellar in Happy Gilmore as the "not so nice" nurse taking care of the grandma in the nursing home..."I'll get you a nice cup of shut the *@#*#^ up grandma!"

Davis goes to PRESCHOOL?!

Davis started Preschool for speech therapy.  He attended 2 days a week for 2 hours. I'm surprised that I didn't bawl my eyes out! "I'm the worst mom" I thought to myself. When I came home, I even tried to make myself cry...but I couldn't. I think that I was just so excited for him to go & recieve help! For the previous years I couldn't hear the thoughts that he had in his head, because he couldn't really talk, & it wasn't that understandable. So I had to watch him & think what he was pretending...what was happening in his little magical world.

Birthday cakes

We decided to have our grandmas & grandpas over for cake.  Davis' cake was supposed to be a red (should've done blue or green) lego block...thankfully he is too little to understand...it didn't turn out.  Then I'm sad to admit it, but I have to be real, I bought a little square cake for Lauren!

Davis cracks me up! I'm happy how his birthday shirt turned out! I think I'll make it a birthday tradition.

Birthdays to begin the New Year...what a way to CeLeBrAtE!!

It wil be interesting how the birthdays will go for the kids as they get older, as they are the 27th & 28th of January.  They are the best kids around. Lauren follows in her brother's footsteps & is can be a bit sassy!  Don't know where she gets that from! I love to remember the experience we had of bringing them into the world. Both were different, but both so amazing! I wouldn't change a thing about both their births & am so grateful for that! We want to give them the world as does every parent. I hope they always feel our love for them individually...oh the emotions of being a parent!
